While looking up some towing laws, I came to realize several states require you to have flares/signs for your RV. Check out This Site for my source information. I have a set of reflective triangles that I thought met the requirements, but now I am confused. Do you have flares? What about when you travel through other states?

I carry flares regardless of requirements, for safety purposes.

I also carry both. At night the flares can see seen further away for safety, if that matters now a day.

B careful in what states you use flares. Flares are illegal in some states because of the fire hazards and because of the damage they cause to roadway surfaces. Every State is different.

I carry 30 minute flares because I've found the cheap 15 minute jobs sold by auto parts places don't last quite long enough if I'm changing a tire.

We have been looking at the emergency strobe lights they have now. We only have the triangles, must until we decide and purchase a strobe setup, we should probably get some flares also!

Both, but here in "wet as a sponge" Florida, I must put the flares in a heavy zip lock bag so they will light if I ever need them. Even popcorn farts are moist!
