What is with all the people that have those barking mutts? each campground lately we are disturbed by yippy dogs.I'm just about ready to go crazy. I like dogs, but the constant barking??? 2 doors over they have 2 and the guy would say something like ---- be quite. Thats it. Did they put them inside H--L no. I finally went over there, stood across the street and read a magazine while they barked away until the owner finally could not take it any longer and put them inside. Not a word was said. People, if nothing else, you are immune to their barking think of your neighbors. I go camping to escape, not to listen to your dogs bark

Some owners are either oblivious to it or just have no consideration for others.
Maybe one of them will answer you.

Or, they go camping to escape their neighbors complaining about their yapping dogs!

Granted, few camping spots are remote enough for ensured tranquility. Always something - music, generators, late nighters, etc.

CG Mangers.........you have complained to them RIGHT?

I'd squirt them with a hose but it would get my keyboard wet.

The rest of the world seems to be quite tolerant of barking dogs, but not me. I often want to play a recording of barking dogs at the house where the dogs never stop barking.

Just curious. Are you camping or staying in an RV Park?

I've never seen as many yapping dogs and dogs not on a leash as at our winter stay in the south this winter.

I've been known after listening to a dog barking all the time, and the owners just sitting there not caring,I"ll walk a few trailers or trucks away where no one is at,and at the right time yell,"Will Somebody Shut That D## Dog Up!" then walk away in a different direction,so they have no idea who said it...works everytime! My SIL brings 4 German Shorthairs camping with her all the time, never a peep,it's the stupid owners, not the dogs!

I have a dog that we take with us. We our very attentive about not letting our dog bark like that. I am also annoyed by peoples dogs constantly barking. They are barking because they want in or are left alone. Neither of which should be done. If the dogs needs in to stop it's barking then put it in. Don't leave your dog behind to bark constantly when you are gone. Those miniature dogs like to yip no matter what you do. Seems people with trailers prefer the little yippers because of size. NOT all dog owners allow there animals to constantly bark. I sure don't. If it barks that much, they should leave.
