I see two negative threads going about dogs. Seems to happen every year. Did you know that dogs were the first animals to be domesticated? They have been with humans for thousands of years providing protection and companionship. Lets take a moment to consider these wonderful animals and their unwavering dedication and loyalty to us.

I think most of the negative comments have been about irresponsible owners, not the dogs themselves.

Beat me to it. That is the straight poop and you are not barking up the wrong tree. It is like you were on a leash and led directly to the point.

My wife taught our dogs how to read, and to use the toilet in our rig for their pottying.

Hey, everyone and everything has to poop. Yes, there are some disgusting humans around. Dogs are just doing what comes naturally, and I'm sure most of us would welcome a barking dog pre-warning us of a dangerous situation. Poop is a small price to pay.

Love dogs, but irresponsible owners should be on a leash.
