Has anyone tried these lights?

I have two boys who love to ride, especially at Lakewood. I was looking for some lights for their bikes this year so I can feel a little better about them being seen when it starts getting dark.
Thanks for any suggestions.

I got some blue ones for Christmas but have not got them on the bikes yet. They look really cheap in person but you never with that stuff. If we have time this weekend maybe I can get the girls to do the bikes up and see.

Humm rope light, may end up tangled in a bike with kids & design, just saying.

Try Knog lighting, come with flexble straps/mounts to easily and funcationally attach to seatposts, frames, and/or handlebars.

They have a blink mode for safety and are quite bright for a small LED.

I like the lights that simply replace the valve stem covers. Safe installation and can't get caught up in the chain or spokes.

I bought them for my bike when RV'ing around the parks at night.

Tireflys Motion Activated Green Skull Bicycle Valve Stem Lights
These are sold at Walmart. Your kids will be the hit of the CG with the selection of colors they offer. I bought the ones that flashes like a cop car, wakes people right up when the see it!

These are the new LED ones that create a ring on the tire when activated

These change colors.

Firefly has stainless steel ones for cars and motorcycles. I was going to put some on the motor home too but if you read the small print on the label it is illegal in some states to run them on your car on the highway!

I have them on my bike. I do think they work great as a safety feature on bikes. Especially for the kids in CG's or off road boondocking while RV'ing.

I like the idea of lights on the bikes for the kids who stay out a little too late. Last year while at lakewood I was shocked at the number of kids that ride their bikes in the dark and how fast they ride. Between all the people walking and the kids on bikes speeding, I cant believe no one has been hurt there yet.

I am with you ro_si.
We go there for July 4th summer vacation, 6 years running, and I had to make my boys stop at dusk because I was afraid of them getting run over by other bikes!

I road mine at night a few times and I was nervous.
Not slamming Lakewood at all, just kids having fun and being kids. I love that place. They seem to do a good job maintaining safety.
