So if I ever manage to get out from my trailer from hell, I will want to get something that isn't junk. Who do you think makes the best travel trailers?

2009 Kodiak 195. Absolute JUNK.

Is it fair to presume you mean in North America, and after Airstream?

Well, I don't know how big you're lookin' to go, but if it's small-to-medium:

I think the all-aluminum Camplite looks to be a real winner, quality-wise.link
I'm lovin' that no-wood, no laminated composite sides, and practically no steel thing!

If anyone can come up with a definitive answer to the question, then I have another question.
How long is a piece of string?

Everyone will have an opinion In my opinion NuWa units are near the top of the list, however, they are now in the orphan class. A gently used model at a decent price would get you up there with the best of them.

Then you don't want New Horizon (which is more expensive, a lot more)

When someone tells you to buy the same rig they own, listen, they might be right. When they tell you to buy a different rig then they own, really pay attention, they probably know something you don't.
