We have a 2002 Sunnybrook 26FK. The water pump is located right under the sofa bed and is quite annoying to our daughter who sleeps there. Is there any problem with moving it to the underside of the TT other than cold temperatures? It seems it would be a lot quieter if it were underneath. The next question has to do with the battery charger. Is there any problem with re-locating it to the under side of the trailer? Thanks for your anticipated help...

The water pump can go anyhwere the power and pipes can reach it. As long as it's protected from the weather and damage, it's ok. Might try insulating it beforee moving it. Make sure it's attached well. Make sure pipes don't rub or wiggle. Foam pipe insulation deadens alot of the noise. Some newer pumps like Shur-Flo are alot quieter than the ones (read - chaepo) used by the manufacturers.
As for electrical appliances, if they are weather and damage secure, the only factor becomes wire size. The longer the wires, the greater the resistance. More resisteance = more heat and less current. Try to keep wire runs to straightest and shortest route possible. May need to use heavier wire.

Agree with everything westmitse says - you might also try adding, I think it's called, an "accumulator tank". It's a small tank that holds approx. 1/2 gal or so of water with an air bladder in it, just after the water pump. It cuts down on how often the water pump comes on because it increases the volume of water available before it needs to pressure up again.

You can get a one gallon accumulator tank at Lowe's for about 40 bucks.

Just turn the pump off at night. You should be able to get at least 4 flushes with the pressure in the system. Should also get enough pressure to get some water out of the faucet too.
I turn the pump off at night because the little light illuminates the entire trailer! But found it nice to not hear the thing when nature calls in the middle of the night too.
