Is there a good place that lists all of the Camping and RV friendly events?

Just got back from Pumpkin Chunking weekend... had a serious BLAST, met some new friends, and am looking for the next similar event within a half-3/4 day drive from home for some more fun weekends.

Fryeburg Fair in Maine. I was told this year that they are the second largest campgound in North America.

Keep checking the Rally forum for events happening in your area or where you might want to travel to. Not sure where your from but there are RV.Net Rallies which tend to be more local and personable than the Big National Rallies.

We are in the Washington DC area. So Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina and West Virginia are all within a 1/2 day drive, perfect for a weekend getaway.

X2 on this one.

For the past few years we have stayed 2 nights during the week when it is a little slower.

Great old time agricultural fair, with lots to see and do, and the premises are kept exceptionally clean, with well maintained buildings.

Check on bluegrass festivals. Most are at CGs but some are on farms so dry camping is a must.
