Let's have fun and see what everyone has booked for the future.

I can hardly wait.

I have July 6-14 at Fort Clinch state park in Fl.
also St. George Island state park in FL for Aug 3-12

Yea we are beach people and love love love hot weather.
beach trips I book way in advance.

haven't booked others just yet. the smaller trips can wing it.

SO WHAT DO YOU HAVE BOOKED already and can't wait til it arrives?

Just returned from a week in San Diego/Borrego Springs, this week it was Lost Dutchman SP in Apache Junction (gassed up there for $3.03 a gallon). Next Friday - Monday we are booked into Roper Lake SP just south of Safford. Thanksgiving week(Monday thru Saturday), we have reserved back to back sites, right on the Virgin River, in the Watchman CG at Zion and our friends from San Diego will be joining us.

Now we just just have to find something to do in December.

Oops, Ron reminded me about Quartzite. Gotta/gonna be there the week of the RV show but no reservations needed. Scadden Wash here we come!

On to the Q in January and then to our rv resort in Newport Oregon in June. While there we'll head over to Redmond for the FMCA rally and we are also planning a trip up to Olympic National Park in Washington for a week. I'm sure that before we come home in October, we'll go to a couple of Tiffin rallys with our new friends in the local Allegro club.

MOST of the time our trips have been planned in a couple of days with the shortest planning period being a couple of hours. The SHORT planning periods are for local trips only of course. We sometimes ponder for several hours when it's a month long trip We actually left ONCE with no destination in mind and flipped a coin to determine the DIRECTION of our trip. We were gone for about six weeks on that one and ended up in New Mexico, Arizona, Utah and Wyoming.
Planning was necessary before retirement set us free to get away from the need for schedules and we've NEVER traveled with reservations anywhere other than local outings. Different strokes, as they say.
