1) on my first big trip. i tried to park my r.v. in a too small of a camping spot... ended up scratching the new trailer with a tree branch...
2) after installing new awning fabric, (trailer was over 10 yrs old).. i forgot to clean the bugs off the awning after getting home from a trip... the black birds cleaned the bugs off the fabric for me, putting holes in the fabric... :-(

Thanks for the vid WoodGlue.

Mine is not camper related but I was helping friends put a new floor in their old boat, we ended up running screws through the hull and into the bunks of the trailer. We didn't realize it until the first time we put it in the water and it wouldn't float off of the trailer, we still laugh about that one.

I left a box of Kleenex in the bathroom and guess where some of those indestructible tissues ended up? Yep, but it wasn't me that put them in the bowl!

Last summer I was hitching up. Usually my hitch latches automatically, this time it didn't. When I backed the trailer off the levelling blocks it rolled backwards after the TV stopped. Dropped the nose my fiver on to the bed of the truck. Caused some minor damage to both the truck and trailer.

Driving about ten miles with the rear outside bedroom door swing open and closing when I slowed down. Luckily the ALSP noticed it for me and stopped me before I damaged it or lost anything out the door. He said it was not his first time to see going down the road.

Nothing major actually done but there have been many 'almost dones' & 'near misses'. The most regular forgettodoos is lock the fridge & there have been a few chocks run over. The cracking of plastic in a CG gets the attention of all around.
