Hi,

I'm not into life in the "fast lane". I'm wondering if anyone has information about a "slow moving vehicle" sticker that could be placed on my RV.

Does anyone use one or have one?

You can find them at about any farm store, e.g., Tractor Supply.

They are normally meant for off-road or agricultural vehicles being operated on a roadway temporarily. You might be in violation of some states' statutes if you put them on an RV or TT.

If you are going well below the speed limit on an uphill climb, I think you'd be better off just putting on your 4-way flashers for the duration. JMO.

For example, in Texas:
Slow-moving vehicle is defined as a motor vehicle designed to operate at a maximum speed of 25 miles per hour or less; or a vehicle, implement of husbandry, or machinery, including road construction machinery, that is towed by an animal; or a motor vehicle designed to operate at a maximum speed of 25 miles per hour or less.

There are vendors that make Bumper stickers and Decals to order. I have seen a bumper sticker "I do not drive above 55"
Whenever you can not keep up with the flow of traffic, stay in the far right lane and put your emergency flashers on. They can be seen from a greater distance allowing others to pass safely.

If you are driving so slow that you feel you need a sticker you are putting yourself and others at risk on the highways. Thats why there are minimum speed limits. Besides, if someone cant see you're RV going down the road they have other problems

Hi,

Only once in my life have I been on a highway that had a minimum speed limit. It was lower than the speed I normally drive.

I did find a regulation for Ontario -- if the vehicle is capable of traveling faster than 40 kph (25 mph) it is illegal to have the sticker displayed.

As I travel at 65 mph or less and have some interstate highway to travel with an 85 mph speed limit I have been considering adding a couple of small amber LED flashers on the back of the trailer. Is this a workable solution?
