I'm I the only one that finds that rude? I've been at the beach for a week now, one spot back from the end and I have people constantly walking through our site, because they're too lazy to walk another 50 feet. These sites are not huge so they're walking right through our chairs, bikes etc.
Guess I'm just venting this morning.

Agree it's rude but it happens.

We winter on the bank of the Colo river in AZ. River bank is public access so folks cut through at times. Don't let it bother me as they are friendly folks and I would want to do the same.

Couldn't agree with you more. We've had people come and fish on our site, stand and talk on our patio etc. Then they look at you like you have two heads when you say something.

Not only rude but not proper camping procedures either. It seems that any more everyone ignores campground rules. Almost every campground I've been in says something about this in their rules. Myself when someone starts cutting thru my site I flat tell them NO GO AROUND. Others will use their cars, chairs, etc to actually form a barricade to stop people from cutting thru.

It is rude, but really nothing you can do about it. I have tried to mention it to people, but most flat out don't care, you are in their way, some are completely oblivious to the fact they are being rude it, and others just weren't paying attention. My kids were taught to stay on the roads and not cut through other peoples camps, but I am finding this to be the exception anymore.

I try to pick out a camp site that minimizes the cut through.

Sounds like a great opportunity to meet new people, have a quick pleasant chat, socialize....

That would never do. Put up some electric fence, maybe a couple big dogs. That'll stop them.

Yup, that's my pet peeve; I typically place stuff so it's inconvenient for someone to walk through. I will usually tell them if they persist.

I may be in the minority here, but I don't get too excited over stuff like this.
