I have a 1989 Coachmen Catalina on a GMC 3500 Vandura Chassis. I have one or both brake calibers slightly rubbing after they heat up. The hotter they get the louder the rubbing or clanging sound gets with the brake released. I don't think the rotors are warped because you don't feel any pulsing when you push on the brake. It seems like the caliper are sticking a little. Should I rebuild the calipers or replace the master cylinder.
Thanks BCJET

I have a 86---and my problem just as you describe was---the front flex hoses from the frame to the calipers---i changed them the problem went away---hoses about 29.00 each-be careful how you bleed the sys.use only dot 3 gravity can drain/bleed the sys some into a jar-so make sure it becomes clear -get all the old stuff out-.sparky

Hey Thanks, I justed finshed it yesterday. I pulled the calipers off to clean and inspect the seals the seal were bad so when I went to get the seal kit I asked how much were new Calipers? I wanted GM calipers also, they were only 26 dollars so I put two new calipers on and I got a new master cylinder, the old one was pretty rusted and so muck gunk in it was easier just to replace it for 44 dollars. Changed it all in about 3 hours and for about 100 bucks. I figured it was cheaper to do this then take it to the shop. The brakes are quiet and work so much better than before.
Thanks
