Any suggestions for a RV campground near Chimney Rock? We're going to the Winston and Coca-Cola 500, and want to spend a day or two at Chimney Rock between the races?

RiverCreek is a nice campground. Small and not alot of activities, but convienent to Chimney Rock. The bathhouses are well kept and the management is very nice. River Creek is just outside of Lake Lure about 20 min to Chimney Rock.

We stayed at Creekside right in Chimney Rock and it was a nice campground. There were several permanent campers that they had a separate section for transients. We would stay there again.
