Looking to go to Cape Hatteras Campground NC at the end of next month. Has anyone camped here and how was it? What about things to do in this area.

There are a few campgrounds in the area, we just stayed at Camp Hatteras which is actually in Waves, NC. There is a KOA and another campground all a few minutes apart. We like Camp Hatteras. It has paved sites, close to the beach. Also they have an indoor and outdoor pool. It rained when we where there so that came in handy.
