Heading towards Yellowstone this summer from east coast. Looking to stop around the Tomah, Wisconsin area. Any recommendations within 25 mile radius along the route 90 interstate would be appreciated. Looking to get past Wisconsin Dells and not stop in the area.

If you are a golfer, there is a great camp ground at the Tomah exit off I94. Holiday Lodge is easy on & off and has a nice 18 hole course. If you are north bound on 94(hwy 21 exit), go east about 6 miles to Wyeville. WI. You will see a sign for the camp ground two exits south on 90/94 at "county PP" just follow the signs for a little shorter route.
I doubt you'll need a reservation, but the number is 1.608.372.9314.

Got kids??? Try Jellystone in Warrens, WI (about 15 miles out of Tomah) Nice campground, very family orientated though... Web site @ www.yogiwarrens.com We've enjoyed it for the last 5 years and now numerous friends come with us.

If that Jellystone is full, there's also a county park (McMullen) on the other side (N) of Warrens (don't worry, it's only a town of 400!... but i live in the suburbs!!)Nice, quiet and a tad less expensive than the Jellystone Chain.
More towards LaCrosse, there's also Nashonok (sp?). They do a number of seasonals, so not sure availability.
Let me know if you need more.
