If you had a choice between a used 2000 40' Mountain Aire, Cummins, Spartan Chassis,19,000 miles, like new, fully loaded and a new 2003 Discovery,in the same price range, what would be your choice. Thank you.

I've got to agree with Deen. We've owned 1 Fleetwood and 2 Newmars, and that says it all. But...the new Fleetwood DP's don't seem to be getting the bad press any more, I've heard they improved.
There are 24 hours in every day - it all depends on how you choose to use them.

I'm also with Deen and Bruce (friends), as I have a Fleetwood product now and will not even consider another Fleetwood. Been to the Newmar plant and I just simply like their products. Chuck (Bagman).

I know NOTHING about a Mountain Air...but compared to a Discovery ( not all Fleetwood DP's now....just the Discovery)....I'd chose the Mountain air......*S*

Have lived the Fleetwood NIGHTMARE and now have a Mountain Aire. No Comparison, go with NEWMAR.

I like both units very well and normally as a Fleetwood fan I would say take the Discovery. But I sincerely believe that the Mountain Aire is a better product. It should offer full basement storage that you won't get from the Discovery. Buy the MA.

Get the Mountain Aire. I've been to the factory and I've seen them build them. My next rig will be a Dutch Star. Newmar quality is excellent.
