Im thinking of purchasing a 1978 rockwood class c. Does anyone know if these were good motorhomes and about how much do you think one would go for. This would be my first motorhome and I have not found much about this motorhome thank you

Well if it has 110,000 miles, then it might be worth around $5,000 - $10,000 mostly dependent on how well the interior looks and if there is any water leaks to fix.

Rockwood is in the middle of the line quality of construction. High line was Wander Lodge with $125,000 new back in 1978.

Does this have a Dodge 360 cubic inch motor? Chevy 350 cubic inch? Ford 460 cubic inch?

How many miles on it?

Does the refrigerator work? Deduct about $1,100 to buy a new one or $600 to find and install a rebuilt refrigerator.

Furnace is $300 or so, water heater is $300 too.

Good Luck, Fred.
