I have a 2003 Safari Cheetah Coach with the 330 Cat engine. When the engine is running you can't hear the AM radio at all, ok when engine is off. The RV repair said it needs filters which they did put in but has not made any difference still real bad. Any comments. Thanks. Ken

Try running a ground wire all the way to the battery. If that doesn't work check your body to chassis ground straps. The noise may be coming in through your antenna.

Unplug the antenna from the radio and check that the antenna itself is connected to earth.

That type of problem is most often caused by a lack of earth at the antenna end or a faulty connection in the antenna shield.
