Do you believe the California State Gu-mint would tell you something that ain't so??? The only part that they left out of the warning was that you have to EAT 5 reels a day for 8 years to get the cancer! "We believe this to be the material called "glass" that is like epoxy that covers the guides where they are placed on the rod. Since this material is virtually indestructible we don't have any worries about it causing cancer. It is placed on the rod when made in a wet form then hardens to the state you see on the rods. HOpe this helps."
